Working action (no half cock), The lock stamped "Warranted". bore is clear. Very old repair to the grip. Generally very good. Trade muskets were longer because they were traded against a pile of furs. The pile had to match the height of the gun when stood on its butt plate. flintlock Est. 800-1000 Lot: 25755

EARLY 19TH CENTURY FLINTLOCK TRADE MUSKET 41" round barrel. 70 bore. Walnut stock running full length of the barrel. Brass fittings, original ramrod. Working action, bore is clear. Brass plate escutcheon on the upper part of the grip. Minor losses to the forestock. Generally very good. Trade muskets were longer because they were traded against a pile of furs. FRENCH NAPOLEONIC FLINTLOCK MUSKET DATED 1812 French military musket out of the St Etienne armory. 40" smooth bore round barrel, stamped 1812. Standard military lock engraved "Manuf Imp. De St Etienne". And a crowned "G" over "11". Walnut stock. Old repair to the forestock. Metalwork lightly pitted. MID 19TH CENTURY BOXLOCK PERCUSSION PISTOL A very nice example of a Belgian made boxlock percussion pistol in almost original condition. 2" twist off barrel, fold away (hidden) trigger. Tiger walnut grip with butt cap storage. The lock is engraved with floral design work. The internal spring is good and strong, as is the trigger release mechanism. Made circa 1870-1880s, with the exact number produced unknown. 2.5 inch round barrel, marked "Keno" on the left side and "483" on the underside. Spur trigger and wood grips. FRANK WESSON .44 CAL 2 TRIGGER TIP UP RIFLE First Type rifle manufactured from 1859 to 1864. Used by the military and issued up to and during the civil war. Slotted link on the right side of the frame, breech end of barrel recessed at each side allowing for removal of spent cartridges without an extractor. Blade and two leaf sights on a barrel. "B. KITTREDGE & CO. / CINCINNATI, O." Kittredge & Co. was a well known Ohio sporting goods and arms dealer and agent for many American gun makers of the era. APACHE MUSEUM PERCUSSION SHOTGUN 32" double barrel gun in demascus twist steel. Some pitting. Muzzle loader with wood ramrod. C1820. Dark toned wood. Locks are in working order. 19TH CENTURY AMMUNITION LOT Lot of four percussion cap cans, two quickloaders and a decorated leather shot flask. Of the percussion cap, or primer cans, two are winchester, one is remington and the last is a german ammunitions brand. All four contain actual caps.
